Kelowna International Airport Terminals

The recently extended passenger terminal building with eight airline gates includes the ‘Escape from Stella Polaris’ glass sculpture and glass building with a fountain. The terminal is available 24/7. Services and amenities inside the terminal are spread at several levels.

The first level is divided into three sections.

Arrivals area

The western end of the building includes the Arrivals area. An international oversized baggage claim can be found near Gate 1 across from its Canada Border Service as well as the International baggage reclaim carousel. Outside of this secure area, passengers can have access to the domestic arrivals area near gate 2, together with a Tourist information counter in the center, currency, local baggage claim, phones, and baggage carts, rental car desks, airport security, baggage service, and terminal exit.

The center of the first level consists of the check-in area, which includes Tim Hortons, Airport Ambassador’s counter, Shutt CMP, Skyway Gift & News - leading to the check-in desks available on either side of the center.

Departures area

The eastern end of the first level represents the departure area, which houses the Skyway Atrium Lounge leading to the stairway/ escalator and CATSA pre-board screening. Next to it is the ‘White Spot’ restaurant/bar, followed by a few stores, including duty-free in the Departure Lounge and access to boarding gates from 4 to 8 (east) and from 3 to 1 (west). The departure lounge improvement project has now been finished and incorporates upgrades of the business center and retail outlets while adding a new Kids’ Zone. Ongoing developments include two new restaurants, a wine-themed bar, and updates to the White Spot kitchen and seating areas.

The second level of the terminal houses airport administration and passport control offices available on the east side, a public observation lounge in the center, and airport development with adjacent airport duty manager at west.
