Kelowna International Airport Parking

Short-Term Lot

Cash, debit, and credit payments are accepted at the ticket booth from 05:30 am until a half-hour after the last flight. Credit cards are allowed in the express lane for cars departing after closing.

Commuters should remember that YLW no longer offers complimentary 15-minute parking in this lot.

Curbside parking

Curbside parking is accessible for $2 for a maximum time of 30 minutes.

Customers can buy a ticket from a meter and display it face-up on their dash.

Commuters should consider that vehicles parked in the active passenger loading area are towed.

Cell Phone Waiting Area

Visitors can avoid circling the terminal building while waiting for their party to arrive.

The Cell Phone Waiting Area is a complimentary parking lot conveniently located beside Airport Plaza. Drivers can remain in the lot until arrival passengers let them know if they’re ready to be picked up.

Electric vehicle charging stations

Electric vehicle charging stations are available at YLW.

In June 2019, four new electric car charging stations were established at the Cell Phone Waiting Area, which is located off Airport Way.

Two fast-charging stations are available to charge a compact electric car in about a half an hour, as compared to a Level two station that requires approximately three to four hours. The Level two chargers cost $1.50 per hour, and the price for the fast chargers is $9 per half hour.

Valet parking

Commuters can drop off their vehicle at the kiosk conveniently located at the south end of the terminal. A one time fee of $20 is added to the final parking cost at the end of the daily or weekly long-term parking charge.

The vehicle will be ready and waiting for drivers in the same location when they return home from their flight.

Long-term lot shuttle

A complimentary shuttle service is available to take passengers from the long-term parking lot to the terminal building.

Commuters should look for the well-marked, white YLW SUV. It is usually parked at the south entrance of the terminal building or near the entrance to the long-term lot.

Accessible Parking

Accessible drop-off locations can be found in front of the building. Accessible parking is available in the rows nearest to the terminal, in the short- and long-term lots.

YLW also provides a Temporary Accessible Parking Permit Program. This program enables commuters to take their current Accessible Parking Permit with them as they travel so that it can be used at their destination. A permit can be received ar the Airport Valet Booth.
