Parking information
Teesside International Airportprovides an on-site car park at the proximity to the airport and terminal. There are no airport shuttle buses, no waiting area, and besides, drivers who park their car must keep car keys with them. The safety of the parking zones is controlled and monitored for 24 hours, seven days a week. Additionally, the MME parking has recently been awarded and categorized as safe parking status by Park Mark.
Parking rates
The first three hours of parking at MME Airport are free. Booking is recommended in advance, but if for any reason customer could not book online, they can later pay with the airport’s standard drive-up rates, outlined as below:
- Up to 3 hours is free
- Up to 8 hours cost £5.00
- Up to 10 hours is £12.00
- Up to 12 hours is £20.00
- Up to 24 hours is £23.00
- For two days it is £40.00
- For three days it is £45.00
- For four days it is £49.00
- For five days it is £56.00
- For six days is £61.00
- For seven days is £66.00
- For eight days is £71.00
- For nine days is £76.00
- For ten days it is £81.00
- For 11 days is £86.00
- The extra day after that costs £5.00.
Parking payment
Non-pre-booked passengers can pay by their credit or debit card or even by cash at any of the pay-on-foot machines located within the arrivals area of the main terminal building. At any of the exit barriers, of the parking area, credit and debit card payments can be made with receipts if required. Concerning pre-booked passengers, they will have to pay online. At the parking zone, passengers who have already purchased and boked park space must bring the booking confirmation to the MME airport. In order to enter the car park, customers should simply drive up to the parking barrier and take a ticket. However, on their return, customers should drive up to the exit barrier of the parking and then press the intercom. Passengers can then be asked to confirm their pre-booking ticket reference, their full name, and the time of arrival at the parking in order to exit.
Passengers should be aware of the fact that if for any reason, they fail to bring the booking confirmation, they will be required to pay the drive-up rate again and then should claim a refund for the difference afterward. In order to complete this procedure, passengers should send all relevant receipts and documentation. Besides, any additional stay at the parking zone outside the pre-booked period will be immediately charged with regular daily tariffs.
Disabled parking
MME airport has designated accessible parking areas for those persons who have limited mobility. On a first-come and first-served basis, MME parking advises the disabled passengers to arrive as early as possible in order to avoid disappointment.
