Terminal Building
Harrisburg International Airport renovated terminal has the form of Y-Shape and can accommodate double size passenger traffic than it used to in past years. It gives the possibility to reach ticket counters, baggage claim areas, or 12 gates (A, B & C surrounding the terminal building) without any difficulty. The airport has two concourses and three levels. Also, there are six boarding bridges accessible on each side of the terminal; they are situated after the security checkpoint. Ground Level
The first ground level of Harrisburg International Airport is divided into two parts, on the west side, which is for Arrivals and the east side of Departures. On the left side of this level are situated baggage carousels, and on the right side, there are check-in counters. Concerning the center, there is a police station and an information desk.
Second Level
On the second level of MDT, is a security checkpoint. The gates are around the security checkpoint. For example, the gates: C1-C3 are on the left side; B1-B6 are allocated straight ahead of the inspection, regarding A1-A3 gates they are situated on the right side of the level 2. There is also Susquehanna Club, across the entrance A, and several dining options are available as well. The access to the Garage is possible via Skybridge.
The third level is used to observe planes, gates, airport aprons, and a 10,000-foot long runway. Additionally, it houses the offices of administration. Moreover, conference rooms are located here too.
