Getting to the airport by car
Passengers can easily reach Lugano Airport from Milan in approximately 40 minutes with the highway A2 Milan-Basel. By taking the exit Lugano Nord and following the road to Ponte Tresa-Agno. The airport is 70 kilometers from Milan, 30 kilometers from Locarno and Como and 20 kilometers from Bellinzona.
Parking
The comfort of the easily accessible parking at only 100 meters from the entrance from the terminal, together with the convenience of the check-in opens up to 20 min before departure, ensures a quick and pleasant travel experience.
Long-term parking
There is a long term parking area available at Lugano Airport. Commuters are advised to note that there also two spaces included for electric vehicles (recharging devices available). Payment options are credit card and cash. However, at the moment, pre-booking is not available online. Thanks to the intercom system available at the exit and the cash points, commuters can get 24h help in case of any issue, when they have lost their ticket or if there are any other inconveniences. The facility is completely automated and monitored by video cameras.

Short-Term Parking
There is also short-term parking lasting area available for up to 90 minutes. For each additional day, after the 3rd day, the price is CHF 15.00. However, customers should remember that rates are subject to changes. Lugano Card members: for enjoying the 15% discount at P1, travelers are kindly asked to go upon arrival to the check-in desk with the parking ticket and the Lugano Card. If the check-in desk is closed, passengers should contact the Supervisor with the courtesy phone. Commuters are reminded that to enjoy the discount payment must take place at check-in, and retroactive credit for payments are not permitted.
It is advised to note that Lugano Airport cannot accept responsibility for any damage that may occur to physical objects or persons in the parking area, nor for the theft of vehicles, accessories, or any other objects left inside the cars.

Check-in All commuters are required to bring valid identification (personal identity card or passport) along with the airline ticket and baggage to check-in. Once the registration has been finished and the hold luggage accepted, a boarding pass will be issued. The service is available every day of the week from 06:00 am to 06:10 pm. For ensuring efficient and quick assistance to PRMs, the airline has to receive a special assistance request at the time of booking or the latest 48 hours before the departure.
