Train
All trains are departing from / going to Genève-Aéroport station stop in the City Center of the city in Geneva-Cornavin station (7-minute trip between the two stations, up to seven trains per hour during peak hours).
Departing from / going to the Geneva-Cornavin station, many direct TER/TGV trains are providing services for most of the cities of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region as well as the TGV to Marseille and Paris.

The train ticket to France can be purchased by using the
- SNCF website or on the SBB website,
- machines in the stations,
- the desks of the Travel Centre in Genève-Aéroport station.
Unireso
The airport is located approximately 4 kilometers from Geneva city center. The facility is easily reachable by bus or by train using the integrated network of public transport unireso. Only one single ticket is needed to travel by tram, train, boat, or bus in the area France-Vaud-Geneva.
TPG city buses currently serve the airport (stops at the Check-in, in front of or on the side of the CFF station), at a frequency of:
- about 8-15 minutes during peak hour for urban lines;
- 20-30 minutes during rush hours for regional lines.
Tourist information can be obtained at the information desk available in the Arrivals Hall of the facility on leaving customs control. Tickets can be bought from the machines conveniently located at bus stops (Euro change or CHF required) and at the Swiss railway station.
