Train
Translink runs NIRailways train services in Northern Ireland. When traveling to BHD by train, passengers may want to disembark at Sydenham train station. When moving from the airport, commuters can board the train at Sydenham train station and travel to either Great Victoria Street station or Belfast Central station, which are both just a comfortable five to ten-minute journey away. From either of these stations, passengers can then make connections to various popular locations across Northern Ireland onwards and down into the South of Ireland.
Train services leave the Sydenham train station regularly during peak times.
Passengers should consider that there is a footbridge that commuters must cross either coming from or going to Sydenham train station. Therefore, commuters are recommended against this transport option in case of experiencing reduced mobility or having difficulty when using steps.
For their convenience, the airport provides a FREE shuttle bus service between the Sydenham train station and the airport terminal. When passengers require the shuttle service from the facility to the rail halt, they can proceed to the Airport Parking Services counter on arrival with their request. A member of staff will signal the shuttle bus to collect commuters from the front of the terminal.

Taxi
Value Cabs represent the official taxi operator for BHD. The service is available for 24 hours, seven days a week, for travel to the property before a flight or from the facility on arrival.
The approved taxi partner runs from the airport taxi rank outside the terminal building. Passengers can be in a taxi and on their way to one of Belfast’s major attractions, that can be found just five minutes away, within minutes of landing.
The approximate cost to Belfast City Centre from the airport with an approved taxi provider is £10.50 (including £2.50 surcharge). All fares are subject to a £2.50 tax.

Short Stay The short-stay park at George Best Belfast City Airport represents the best option for when customers need to meet and greet a passenger from Arrivals or in case of short journeys. The short-term parking area is the first car park on the right-hand side as passengers enter the facility grounds and are available just minutes away from the terminal building.
