Bangor International Airport Arrivals

All passengers traveling internationally or domestically, arriving at Bangor International Airport are subject to Transportation Security Administration security screening. The procedure is similar to the testing done for departing flight. After arriving at BGR, travelers go under a full-body scanner, and their carry-on bags are being checked too. Arriving passengers are also asked to go through Customs and Border Protection agent's screening. Travelers are required to answer CBP agents' questions truthfully. CBP employees are trying to determine visitors' identification, check their visas and immigration status, and determine their reason for staying in the United States.

After that, travelers can go to the baggage claim area to get their luggage back. Baggage claim carousels are located on the first floor of the airport terminal.
