Check-in options

Alaska Airlines provides several options to pass through the check-in procedures at the airport, and passengers are welcome to choose due to their preferences. The Airline recommends passengers arrive at least two hours before scheduled departure flights when traveling with bags. If passengers don’t have any bags, 60 minutes will be enough time.

Ticket Counter Check-in

When traveling with a paper ticket or just requiring some additional assistance with the check-in procedures on the date of departure, the customer service agents are always ready to assist passengers with an in-person check-in. However, travelers should consider that checked baggage is only accepted within four hours of their scheduled departure.

  • Wednesday: 07:30 am - 08:00 pm;
  • Friday: 06:00 am - 10:30 pm;
  • Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 06:00 am - 08:00 pm;
  • Saturday: 07:30 am - 10:30 pm;

Online check-in

Bypassing the check-in procedures online, passengers can skip the check-in line at the facility and just head straight for their gate.

However, it is necessary to print out a boarding pass one to twenty-four hours before the scheduled departure.

Kiosk check-in

Passengers can also pass check-in by using the check-in kiosks that are conveniently located at the Kodiak Benny Benson State Airport.

Self-service kiosks can be found in the terminal’s lobby near the ticketing/bag drop-off area.
